I just signed up today (for service to start in a month). I was told (and billed for) that I have to have a cable box. The trick: I don't want television service. Just internet. But I'm going to be billed $5 per month for television (although I was told I could just return the box immediatly, and not get billed (which begs the question: why require the box in the first place?)) I'm also going to be billed $12 a month for a "Broadcast TV Fee", even though (once again) I'm not getting televison service. Just internet. What gives, Xfinity? Why do I have to deal with an extra 17 dollars a month for services I don't want?
