Unlimited Data
I am trying to get a straight answer regarding the issue of data usage. I am from Maryland so I'm not in a data cap area.
I have inquired about XFi Complete just to prevent future problems if caps begin to be imposed. The last response that I got when calling was "You have gigabit, you do not have a data cap". Is that an accurate statement? It doesn't seem to be as I read.
I have found it very difficult to add XFi complete and I don't understand why.
I am currently on gigabit with flex. I am renting the XB7.
Thoughts?
Thanks.

Please see https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/data-usage-plan, especially "Is my house included in the 1.2 Terabyte Internet Data Usage Plan?".
Maryland is not on that list, and Unlimited is not offered or needed in areas where the cap is not in effect.ETA: Comcast is adding all of its service areas to its 1.2 Terabyte Internet Data Usage Plan effective 1/1/2021. See https://corporate.comcast.com/stories/our-nationwide-data-plan and https://www.xfinity.com/learn/internet-service/data.
