Underground Cable

A technician came to install my internet kit. He realised I didn't have a coaxial cable or a xfinity box. He sent a order to do a underground cable and instal a xfinity box on the side of my house. He said it was going 7 days. It's been 3 weeks and all that has happened that someone came to mark where my utilities. The guy who marked them said they come next week to install and I haven't gotten any meesages on my phone or my email. I haven't been able to use the internet serviceand currently use my phone to type this. Does this process normally take long?
