I moved from 1 home to another. More than a week prior to my move i scheduled a transfer of service and installation at the new location, on 9/1/20. I confirmed the install the day before the move, 8/31/20 between 8am-10am. The tech never showed up. I called Xfinity at 10:30am and was told he was running late. I called again at 12:30pm and was told my appointment had been rescheduled to 9/11/20, without any communication to me. How does this happen? I've been on the phone with Xfinity at least 5-7 times in the past 2 days with no luck on moving up my install. I tried installing myself (i brought all my equipment with me) but the power line is cut going into the house. My daughters are on at home schooling with the county and we have no internet. They have now missed the first week of the new school year. Someone needs to make this a priority. Or is this still the same old Comcast Customer Service???
