Service in Burnt Store Village, Punta Gorda Florida 33955

THis HOA/POA does not have Comcast Xfinity serivce which I enjoy in Michigan.  I have contacted the village president repeatedly but never really get a useful response.   Is there a plan to install your services in this community?   What steps would need to be taken to get services in this community? There is currently no competition to the pathetic CenturyLink 10mb internet service.  This community is still growing but I believe new starts are being held back by the lack of quality Internet/Phone and TV service.

You’ll need a site survey but it needs to be initiated by your HOA as there will be costs involved, they may have a contract with CenturyLink that precludes any competition. Go to your HOA meeting and bring it up

No non compete - I checked into it.   You state a site survey is required.   What type of cost is involved?  We have a board meeting coming up tomorrow and I'd like to have info to offer.  Thank you!

The site survey is for costs involved getting service to the area and if it’s even possible. There are no set costs, every area is different, regarding equipment, permits etc.

Hi @bigblockstang

Thank you for using the Xfinity Forums. The information provided by @CCAndrew is correct. I'd be happy to help you by gathering the information needed and submitting a site survey request.
