Random service cancellation

I recently moved into a new home and was recommended Xfinity by a friend for the area. It was an easy setup and I had no problems getting into it, I however received a email not even 3 days into my service. Notifying me that I had canceled my service for internet, of which I most certainly did not. I don’t know if this a normal problem for xfinity users or not. But I’d be really grateful for some help with finding out how to rescind that cancellation order, it is very disappointing.

Bit late to answer but I guess I might as well say what ended up happening, I had moved into my new home to live with my elderly father to take care for him. And not a month into living there he passed away, I then proceeded to put my own internet plan in place, because of course I can’t pay for my dead fathers. Not even five days into having service my internet was cancelled. The reason being that there was a past service with my surname so Xfinity assumed that it was only natural to cut my service and force me to pay for my dead fathers debt. It was a very disrespectful and disheartening thing to deal with. I honestly didn’t expect Xfinty to force their customers on these things.
