Outage Update

There was an outage in my area five days ago. Each time I check the status it keeps changing time when the problem will be resolved. It has been already 5 days! I tried to contact Xfinity but as soon as they detect I am in the outage area, they would hang up on me. How can I reach a real agen and understand if the message is accurate and there is truly still outage in my area? My neighbors have service though, but I don't.
