Ordered new xFi pod a week back but no one can tell me when it’s shipping

Hi all, I ordered one of the new generation of xFi pods over a week ago, I received a confirmation of receipt of the order immediately, but no estimate on delivery or any means to track. I had a long, polite, but ultimately unsatisfying conversation 36 hours ago with one of the live chat reps where they could only tell me it has not shipped and they have no way of knowing when it will. Then they disconnected the chat.

I am managing online events for the University of Virginia from home and I am trying to upgrade an aspect of my home network (at my own expense) to accommodate our increased work load. Can anyone here: 1) help? 2) expedite the order? 3) at least give me an idea of what the delay is and when I might expect the pod to be delivered?

Per customer support, they are on back order due to high demand so long shipping delays. I ordered 2 on 10/16 and received 1 on 11/2 waiting for other one.

Just wanted to add I'm having same issue. I ordered Xfi Pods on 11/17/20 and over 2 weeks later they still have not shipped. I tried support chat and they they are having inventory issues.

I will add to this thread that the second generation xFi pod is worth the wait. For my set up, they more than doubled the speed and range. They are twice the size and weight but still easily plug directly into wall outlet. My delivery issues were resolved eventually.

I order mine in the begining of November and havent heard anything about it except the one email saying my order was confirmed its getting ridiculous because they are still trying to charge me for the self install fee for it
