New construction

I have talked to a few representatives on the phone during my moving process and told them I am moving to a new construction home on a new street.  They have said they don't service the address because it's not in the database.  I have requested to get address verification done but I haven't gotten any feedback for a couple of weeks.  I also found out xfinity is two houses away so how can I verify a ticket has been created and xfinity is actually working on something?  We need reliable internet for work and school so as we near our closing date I am starting to get worried nothing is getting done.

Well, here's the thing.  You don't own the house yet.  You can't get anything done until you do.  There isn't a name or address associated yet for Comcast to set up service.  When you sign the mortgage and you get the keys, you can start setting this all up.
