I'm moving. The internet was turned off at my 'moving from' address and does not work at my 'moving to' address. After waiting for an hourish on hold, a nice (seriously) <Edited> man told me that I needed to wait another 1 hr 11 mins on hold to get a work order closed, which would not fix the problem but would get me one step closer..... I have to work and cannot wait (customers expect answers to calls) so I get on chat, and the robot "Xfinity Assistant" was as useful as talking to the neighbors cat. So here I sit, beholden to a <Edited> internet provider in my area, <Edited>, and no internet in sight. I could call and wait another 2ish hours, get disconnected again and get nowhere, or ask for help on the form as a last ditch effort - so here I am. Any guidance on talking to a real human with a potential soultion would be great - <Edited>. Thanks in advance for any help.
