I have been attempting to daily get through to someone who can submit a ticket for grounding my line. Last Monday early, a lightning storm caused my modem and google router to burn out. The plug on the router nearly caught on fire. It was not coming through the electrical system as we didn't even have a power blink. It came through the ungrounded cable entering directly to the modem. $300 to replace them, for the second time in 2 years.
Each time I submit a ticket this week, I get a resolve notice without hearing from nor seeing a human. I cannot reach anyone in the US who can understand the issue. I have contacted the county who told me it is in violation of code (NEC) not to have a ground in place.
