Issue with Main Cable Line in Neighborhood

My entire neighborhood is brand new construction that has never had cable before. The lines were recently ran and our addresses are finally showing up as serviceable. However, the technician connecting my house to the line this morning found that the main line is not active. He put in a ticket to get the main line worked but I have no idea when that will be completed. I tried call and chatting with Comcast multiple times and no one seems to understand what I am saying, they keep trying to send a technician to my house but the issue is not my house! This does not just affect me, it affects my entire neighborhood but not everyone knows that we are supposedly able to get internet yet. Our addresses were "programmed" only last week. How can I find out when I will actually get internet in my area?
