Hack network, via DHCP demoted my pc admin account, has copies of PII, took ownership of Microsoft and charged services at my expense. No support from from Xfinity "security" so I thought I'd post here to inform.
The chat bot assures me Xfinity Advanced Security has my account protected and then disowns Norton Security.
They're still accessing my network even after multiple gateway resets and restarts. When I try to seek assistance, they modified my browser with javascript to redirect my inquiry to either a spoof phishing site or delayed the load time until the page timeout, includes attempts to access 10.0.0.1 or Xfinity.
The Xfinity chat bot assures me I don't have a problem because Xfinity Advanced Security protects me. They are still getting so I guess this is a feature and not a bug?

You havent been hacked, you have a spam issue with your browser and its telling you theres an error so that it can get you to then click a certain box within the application giving the messages. Anytime your internet browser tells you anything thats related to the security status of your computer, do not believe what it is telling you and do not click anything it asks for you to click, dont even click the X button if one appears as an option with any of the messeges you happen to recieve. Just close the browser entirely with task manager or resource monitor. You need to reset the web browser. I reccomend you use chrome and when you have these issues go into chrome settings and type reset then click the button and it will remove the spam causing issues.
