Cancellation reques

I literally never put in any cancellation request for my internet to be severed, however not only did I get that email out of the blue, it actually happened as of 5 in the morning today!! Considering 5am is “much too early” for anyone to be available by phone, my chat agent told me that a name I was completely unfamiliar with, put the request in for service in my apartment. I live alone. Certainly this could be a goof-up in address confirmation but how are you just allowed to cancel my service without confirming with the cardholder? I am absolutely horrified with the lack of assistance in trying to get this resolved especially considering it was at NO FAULT of my own yet I am somehow suffering the consequences.
