Burying cable

I was told that the cable would be buried within 14 business days or I would hear from Xfinity about any delay. I've had no information so far and my landlord is ready to evict me because the cable is laying across the driveway and yard and he can't now the grass. I would like to know when I can tell him this will be taken care of.
