Bill is ready to view

I previously had my ex added in as a user to my account. Our relationship ended so I removed him as a user approximately 5 months ago. I receive the “Your bill is ready to view” every month which includes details as to the amount and due date and my ex is being included in the recipients field.

I have called customer service numerous times and they all say the same thing “he isn’t shown as a user; the change may take a few cycles to kick in.”

Can’t they see the emails being sent to me and see the email I want removed? This is my account and it’s now becoming a privacy issue as I don’t want this information as vague as it is being shared with my ex.
