Bandwidth cap and working from home
As more and more companies have extended their office closings and schools being virtual, the bandwitdh cap is still an issue.
The bandwidth cap has been reinstated but even with the limit raised to 1.2 TB, I'm still pushing the limit.
I understand there is 1 free overage. Is that 1 per year and if so, is that per calendar year?
Also, are there any current deals for adding the unlimited usage option?
thanks

Even worse, in my area (Chester, CT), gigabit service is not even available. 400 mb is the fastest that I can get, even though I have purchased a 1gb modem. Xfinity has got to invest in its infrastructure to make the increased bandwidth available to more customers.

Please see https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/data-usage-plan, especially the "What happens if I use more than 1.2 terabytes in a month?" and "How do I avoid overage charges?" links. Also see https://www.xfinity.com/learn/internet-service/data page.
