Transfer of Ownership

My roommate wants to take over our internet account so he can have proof of residency, but I also use Xfinity Mobile services and your team recently merged the accounts because they said they had to in order to resolve a technical issue I was unaware of. Now I don’t know how that will work. Any guidance appreciated.
