My bill was inceased out of the blue
I have X1 TV service bundled with internet service and had a bundle discount. My latest bill showed that this discount expired after almost 2 years; as a result, my bill went up. I was never told that this was a promotion that would expire. My services have not changed and I was under the impresion that the discount was given to customers who bundle services and was applicable as long as services were still bundled. Out of the blue the discount "expired."
Was this "promotional" real or is this another way for comcast to deceptively raise fees?

The promotion is real; when your 2 year contract ran out your promotion ended, and the price you're seeing now is the every day pricing for your bundle. And no, the bundle price isn't for the lifetime of the bundle - only for the promotion/contract. That was most likely explained in your contract, btw. And there is nothing deceptive there.
Notifications of increases and promotion ends are usually found in the notes in your billing statement a month or two before it takes effect.
