Fees after fees and MORE FEES!! Wat da..
What is this high charging montly service fees on the bills and why do we have to pay for it? Broadcast TV Fee and Regional Sports Fee. Is that even LEGAL for you to charge us for these fees? Regulartory Cost Recover Fee? Not Goverment mandated or Tax but you're charging customers this fees? Franchse Fee?
Public, Education and Government Fee?
What are all these fees for?
These fees adds $31 to my monthly subscription aside from Sales Tax.

I don't understand what the problem is with the prior post. It was not particularly abusive and is a reasonable response to pricing issues.
For instance, if we look at the following example of an individual plan, we see the following, where over 38% of a monthly bill is fees and taxes, apart from the actual plan to which someone may be subscribed.
Basic Triple Play Plan $ 129.99 61.4%
_____________________
Equipment Fees 46.96
Service Fees 20.55
Taxes and Surcharges 14.07
________
Total Fees 81.58 38.6%
________
Total Cost per Month $ 211.57
=========
This seems like a perfectly reasonable concern that someone may have.

I agree this is ridiculous! I have basic cable for $24.95/mo and they have the nerve to charge me an almost $20 broadcast fee on top of that! I just don’t understand why these “fees” aren’t just included in the cable prices?? Why do we need to pay for channels that are included in our cable package!?!? So I literally pay more between the taxes and the fees than I do the actual cable. I cannot wait to cancel. I have wasted way too much money. I only watch maybe 4 channels anyway and most of it I can watch for free now on peacock or use my new antenna. It is beyond ridiculous what they charge all of us for fees! I pay almost $60 a month for basic cable. So stupid.

So, then you'd be happy paying $24.95 + $20.00 = $44.95 a month? That would be fees included, but not taxes.
I have to agree, however, that the Broadcast Fee is extremely high, but it's not Comcast's fault. This is a fee that all broadband cable providers have to pay so the fee is broken down to each customer. If Comcast et al refused to pay this you would lose your local and basic channels. Everything is going up: the cost of living, the cost of producing, the cost of salaries, the cost of transporting and transportation, etc, and we, the consumer have to pay this or do without. Unfortunately there's lots of thing we can't do without. Cable prices are going up, not just because of better technology, but because [again] of salaries, from the actors and actresses and all that goes into producing a show down to the transmission fees, and all of that includes the price networks have to pay for the shows. [The actors and actresses of The Big Bang Theory made a gracious $1M per episode!!! Paraphrasing here, "no payie, no watchie".]
Sadly we can no longer isolate to just our wallets; we have to look at the big picture and make decisions not necessarily based on what we want, but what is necessary for living. And, as I said, this just isn't Comcast. It's all ISP's.
