Equipment question (upgraded plan)

Hello, I am an existing customer who upgraded their plan in early January. While changing my plan through the website, I was shown that I would need a new cable tx box because of the new plan's features. Almost a month later, I haven't recieved any equipment and it's obvious I don't actually need it. How can I make sure I don't get charged a monthly fee for equipment I didn't recieve?
