Billing increase

My bill increased this last cycle, to $95 after having been $68. Like many others, I am having extreme difficulty with finances. In particular, I am now spending an extra few THOUSAND dollars a month in childcare because the local schools have shut down due to COVID. Is there any way to get a temporary stay on the price increase? I called customer service, but all I was offered was a $5 credit.  Please help.
