Billing increase

My monthly bill increased by $ 35.51, a 12.4% increase. It states " regular monthly charges have increased by $ 33.00 as a result of service change(s) made to my Xfinity plan." I made no changes to my plan so why the large increase. What can be done to lower this increase to something reasonable?

Hello dyagodnik1. We appreciate you visiting and posting on the Xfinity Forums. Sudden increases in fees are usually at the end of a promotional/ discount period. Regarding promotional discounted offers, We offer an introductory discounted rate for the first 6 months, 1 year, or 2 years depending upon the offer. After the introductory discount period offer expires, the price does go to what we call Everyday Price or regular rate.
