Billing for a new but cancelled account

I received an e-mail notifying me of a bill for wireless when I cancelled the account due to slamming by Xfinity.  Friday I spoke with some at Comcast who said he could handle the matter.  He couldn't. He said a supervisor would call in an hour.  No call received.  Please resolve.
