Bad service = Lower bill?

I have switched from lower speed to higher speed service, but the promissed/serviced is NOT true.  I paid for 100mpb and get around 42 every month for 3 months since I switched.  However, my bill remainded $73+ with the worst connection ever.  Should I get partial refund due to partial delivery/service from Xfinity?!

Are you using a router and Wifi?  Have you tested your speed connected directly to the modem?  Have you had someone out to check your cables?

No, you won't get a partial refund, sorry.

Re: Bad service = Lower bill?

Yes you should get a partial refund, as, I’m in the same Boat. I am being charged 165 dollars a month for SHOTTY service. I just have local channels, like you would get with an Attenna in which they charge me 15. Than charging me 40 for basic service? My internet shuts off sporadically at night making me use data, and in top of it, I get emails saying my speeds will slow down because I have reached a certain amount of data but I’m on UNLIMITED!!!!......<Edited>

Oh by the way..I paid for XFI pods due to the SHOTTY Service in my house, and did it get them because they test your speed going into and out of the house so basically they get the strength straight from the modem and thus is why I didn’t qualify <Edited>

Are you paying extra for Unlimited Data?  Internet service comes with 1.2TB of data a month, which is what Comcast calls "unlimited" because the majority of customers would never use that much data in a month.

In July Comcast raised the limit from 1.0TB to 1.2TB, cut down the courtesy months from 2 to 1 month, and added new Unlimited Data plans.  You can find out about those here.

Unlimited data on mobile and unlimited data on internet are two different things.
