Zoom not connecting through vpn

I’m using a Xfinity gateway with an Ethernet cord going to a third party vpn for work. Xfinity has packet loss on the vpn Ethernet connection. I had a different internet service provider installed and everything worked perfectly. I have switched gateways, replaced the vpn device, and the computer. Same issues. Xfinity seems to not be able to find a solution but I would rather much stay with Xfinity. Please someone help

@user_zdld45 Our team is here to help. I'm sorry to hear you're having ongoing issues with your VPN while connecting for work. I work from home as well and use a VPN.

I have some questions to ask for troubleshooting so we can get this resolved for you.

Have you confirmed your Firmware version is up-to-date?

Are your Firewall settings set to optimal (Low)?

Outside the VPN connection do you have connectivity to Internet?

Are other devices' such as your mobile phone able to connection to your internet?

Additionally our gateway devices IP networks are defaulted with Gateway Address 10.0.0.1, which means the DHCP addresses available range from 10.0.0.2 to 10.0.0.254.  Is the range you were given within this range?

For example if you were given 192 DCHP range this would not work as you would have to manually go into your settings and change it or work with your IT team to manually change it.

With this information, is the DCHP in range?

I don’t have consistent internet speeds and experience many time out issues. Also I use a VPN for work using an Ethernet cord. That connection does not allow for zoom connection due to the time outs.
