Youtube wonky since work done on our street
On 1/12/2024 there were 2-3 Xfinity trucks on our street working on the cable/internet. They turned our internet off at 3:20ish (with no notice, and I work from home). I looked it up and found a message saying they were doing "courtesy upgrades" for our street. Ever since then, the Youtube website is acting weird. Besides occasional buffering, any time I type in comments, there is a very long lag. I've seen other comments from Comcast that you don't do throttling, but that's sure what it seems like. Youtube is the only site this happens on whether using a direct link or bluetooth. I can get a VPN to test whether it is Comcast throttling or not, but I'm hoping to avoid this. Can you please advise what might be going on here?

Greetings, @user_gphbqa! I hope your week has been treating you well. Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum. I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with your connection, but you have definitely come to the right place for assistance.
Can you tell me a little more about what's happening? Are you seeing the same issues with YouTube on multiple devices, or is this only happening on your primary device? Is this on the YouTube app, or on a browser window, or both? What kind of troubleshooting steps have you taken so far?
