YouTube TV app keeps changing Playback area

I recently changed my router to one provided by Xfinity. I have the YouTube TV app on my smart tv. Since I've changed my router, the playback area keeps changing from my original area before the router change. I can change it to my original playback area but after a week or two, it changes to the new playback area, which I do not want. After going through several steps with the YouTube support, they said I have to contact my internet provider (Xfinity) and change my IP address. Is this correct support? Anyone else having this issue?
