Your ISP's DHCP does not function properly. - ASUS RT-N66W
Hi, I am having issues with my internet. I can connect to the router, however, there is no internet. The modem says it’s functioning properly. The router gives me this message: Your ISP's DHCP does not function properly.
I’ve followed my router troubleshooter, followed the Xfinity troubleshooter, and reset both units several times. I have not been able to restore my connection and continue to receive the same message. I have an ASUS RT-N66W router and ARRIS SURFboard SB6183 modem that I’ve been using for almost a year now with no issues.
It seems that I’m having pretty much the same problem as this thread https://forums.xfinity.com/t5/Your-Home-Network/Your-ISP-s-DHCP-is-not-functioning-properly-ASUS-router/td-p/3331178. @ComcastChe solved it by provisioning the modem, and it seems like this solution worked for another individual as well. I’m hoping that they or another employee may be able to assist me (and hopefully have the same solution). It seems that the mentioned thread is closed, though. Otherwise I would have posted there.
