Your ISPs DHCP does not function properly asus RT-AC3200

been down all day.  I have followed every online tutorial I could find.  I have rebooted and factory reset my router several times.  I also power cycled the xfinity modem.  Anyone have any magic solutions or away not to be on indefinite hold for support?

I have the same issue with an ASUS AX11000 router.  I was playing a game this morning and the internet just randomly went out and my router was stating this error in the connection status.  I tried all the things you mentioned.  What worked for me was reseting the router back to normal mode and connecting with my computer, verifying internet connection works, then setting to bridge mode and reconnecting my router then spoofing my MAC address as suggested by another post with the same issue today.  No idea what is going on but it randomly happened.  Have not seen this issue before.  They must have done something because it was working fine until it randomly disconnected me.

@user_e9cc3d If the previous solution did not work and you are still having issues with that connection I would be happy to assist you here. I would just need you to send me a direct message with the full name and complete address on your account.

To send a direct message [private message]:

  •    Click "Sign In" if necessary
  •    Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://comca.st/3xHZRYZ
  •    Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  •    The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
  •    - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
  •    - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
  •    Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  •    Press Enter to send it

@user_6eb284 I was able to get mine to work again by hard reseting my Xfinity Modem/router with my Asus router connected then accessing the web configuration of the modem while connected through my Asus router and setting bridge mode.  Before I was connecting my computer to the modem to set it up and my Asus router wasnt able to pull a IP.  After I got the router to reconnect it was still dropping out in the middle of the night forcing me to set everything up again every morning.  I was able to get this to stop by setting the DHCP query frequency to Continuous in my ASUS router under WAN settings.  So far so good, it did not drop connection last night.
