Your ISP's DHCP does not function properly. ASUS router.

i have no idea what is causing this. I have tried rebooting both my modem (Arris Surfboard) and my router ASUS RT-AC86U. I read a similar thread where the tech provisioned the modem again? Is this the answer? Anything I can do myself?
