Your home internet is offline

I got home from work last night and figured out my WiFi wasn’t working. My app says “Your home internet is offline.” I have reset my Xfinity gateway and followed all directions but it is still not working. It doesn’t appear to see my gateway anymore.

First. Check their site for official info on any possible local outages here;

https://www.xfinity.com/support/status

https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/check-service-outage

Use a cell phone internet service, a public WiFi hotspot, or a neighbor's internet if you need to in order to check it.

Or you can use their Xfinity App: https://www.xfinity.com/apps

Is/are the indicator light/lights on the modem lit steadily, or are they blinking ?

Yeah. It's offline. It may be a problem that is local to your premises. Did you report it in the app/schedule a tech visit ?

I did, but I’m trying to avoid a tech visit.

Ejtate2024 Hello I am glad our export shared the links to check for interruptions online. Is the equipment connected to any splitters or third party routers?

Not that I can see! It’s been working since July and just cut off yesterday.

Ejtate2024 Gotcha, to avoid repeating any steps you have already taken apart from resetting the gateway are there any other steps you have tried?

I’ve unplugged, waited, and plugged back in. I’ve changed coax options in the house. I’ve followed all instructions that Xfinity gave so far.

You may not have any choice unless you can try to fix it yourself/check the lines and connections.
