xfinitywifi public hotspots not connecting: "obtaining IP address"

I bought a xfinity plan to use the free hotspot xfinitywifi in my building for more than $50 last month, and now i'm wondering why today it doesn't work anymore.
Everytime that i try to connect i have the same message: "obtaining the IP address...". Why? My plan is still december 24. Starting to regret about this plan.
