Xfinity WiFi Router Firewall blocking connected Xfinity Mobile Device use of LAN connected Devices

For about eight months printing from my xfinity mobile to my Epson printer stopped. Message is Router Firewall is blocking communications (found today in Print Enabler tools).  For six years prior, absolutely no issues/flawless printing from xfinity mobile device to my Epson Printer with with same IP Addresses, wired or wifi depending on my mood that year and location of printer inside home.  Activate Wi-Fi Direct, an Epson option yesterday and still failure.  Note until this morning Epson Print enabler (or Mopria, Android, Samsung print enablers) did not return a message of firewall block.

- Issue impacting 1 single xfinity mobile phone connected to xfinity wi-fi router and only impacting the xfinity mobile phone using printer or any internal lan address (DMZ 192.168.15.xx)

Troubleshooting so far:

- Confirmed Samsung Galaxy phone app permission settings with Samsung.

- Samsung live agent support set up live session on phone, got into Android networking and can see the printer IP address from my mobile device

- Epson got into apps installed on device for permissions, Wi-fi & Wi-fi Direct.  In addition to reinstalling Samsung Print Enabler, Mopria Print Enabler and Android Print enabler and Epson iPrint.  A nuance Epson Print Enabler returns message printers cannot be added.  All of the print enablers can see the LAN address of printer.  But using the apps say one of two messages "cannot retrieve printer information" or "Printer not available"

- My xfinity wi-fi router Admin Configs in Router are clear with no MAC filtering and Low Firewall setting

- Printing from my laptop on the xfinity router is working fine and has always for 12 years.

- Printing from three other users with five more devices print to the Epson printer just fine

- No topic, response from xfinity Chat in addition to no ability to switch to live agent

- Have reset xfinity wifi router 4x in past 30 hours, have reset printer and confirmed configs with manufacture numerous times Have reset Xfinity mobile both Epson and Samsung with live agent support.

Nuances and configurations

- Separated (to create two)  non-broadcasting SSIDs for 2.4 and 5.8Ghz currently, set yesterday during troubleshooting with Epson.  Prior to yesterday for six years only one non-broadcasting SSID.  I did this because Epson Support agent said 2.4 and WiFi Direct frequency are only two frequency supported.

- Today is first time Epson Print Enabler returned message firewall rule block when attempting to print from my xfinity mobile device

- Using Mozilla VPN, active with filtering allowed/bypass to reach a couple of useful sites (xfinity external and internal, Epson External and Internal) Nuance found here as well 1) with VPN turned-off, I cannot reach internal LAN addresses via typing in IPv4 address or using print enablers or using Xfinity App. 2) with VPN turned on, I can reach internal LAN addresses and also reach xfinity App.

Comcast Broadband/WiFi researched and had view into modem and came back with two good suggestions.  1) confirm Comcast Modem/Wifi router firewall is culprit. To do so a) login to router as admin b) disable firewalls (LAN/Wi-Fi) to determine if this is the culprit c) disable WAN Firewall (Epson like many other printers have chatty sessions with their OEM servicers via the Print Enabler and device apps).  When the firewalls are disabled, test the print again, then firewalls were the issues (be mindful that you do not have any enabled TCP/UDP ports in the firewall access lists before turning off.  OEMs try to publish what TCP/UDP ports they are using but after patches, updates, upgrades, the whole industry is poor on respecting, publishing, reconfiguring these code application changes).  I have one port (113 for iDent RFC use by IRC and many apps use this - while hackers love it for its lack of app/payload filtering) in filtering by default.

2) If Firewall is issue and you cannot adaquately ascertain the TCP/UDP ports for your device files from the OEM, try negotiating an upgrade cable modem such as CB7 or CB8.

It will be a couple of days more before I can test because in new neighborhood, Comcast Node Contractor disconnected residence early Saturday morning and repairs are not allowed on weekends so I have to wait for a weekday repair crew.
