Xfinity wifi not in list of available networks

Hello,

My issue is related to another post titled “wifi not showing up” dated 6/11/20. As of 2-3 months ago, I was able to see Xfinity Wifi in my available networks on desktop, laptop, and phone. Now for some reason it’s only visible on my phone.

I saw a reply from jesslaura on 7/8/20 that advised to change the 2.4 GHz wifi connection settings from 802.11 g/n/ax to 802.11 g/n or vice versa. Problem is I can’t find these settings in my xfinity account. Xfinity tech support had no idea where to find it, which really surprised me.

A screenshot of my internet account settings is attached. Is it possible to advise how I make this update from the info provided? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

@XfinityAaron

Lol I knew it. [Edited: "Inflammatory"]. Fortunately, I’m too smart to fall for that. Lack of reply from your email confirms you have no idea how to fix. Call would obviously involve nothing more than me waiting on hold as you do a google search for answers.

I left comcast 2 years ago and now use Verizon, which has surprisingly good tech response. Following up on this for my dad. [Edited: "Inflammatory"]. My guess it’s a combo of the two lmao. [Edited: "Language/Inflammatory"]
