Xfinity Speedtest not working again

As in previous posts in 2021, I'm having an issue with the Xfinity Speedtest link for the PC on an ethernet connection. It is generating the following error: "Opps. Something went wrong"

I've tried running it on all three browsers: Firefox, Duck Duck Go, Edge, and Google Chrome without any browser plug-ins enabled and I'm still getting this same issue.

https://speedtest.xfinity.com/error

I do not need a link to ookla, I can chek it on speakeasy and all other sites. I would like to know why it is happening only on the xfinity speedtest link

@user_3c9f4b Thank you for reaching out and brining this to our attention. I can see how this would be frustrating as I also like being able to run speed tests to make sure that I am getting the proper speeds. I just want to confirm that the link you are using is http://speedtest.xfinity.com/

@XfinityTimothyA That is the link I'm using, and I just attempted to run it again on different browsers. I'm still getting this reply "

Oops!

Something went wrong" and this link https://speedtest.xfinity.com/error

Restart Test

@user_3c9f4b I tried the link that I provided and was able to get the site while connected via Ethernet cable. Have you cleared your cache and cookies on your PC?

I have only been an Xfinity customer for a short while, but Xfinity's Speed Test never worked for me. The other speed test sites, like speedtest.net (Ookla) and speakeasy, worked, so I wasn't that concerned. But, oddly enough, when I tried https://speedtext.xfinity.com/ today, it worked. I know that doesn't help you other than to say that you are (were) not the only one. I have no idea why it is working now; I don't think I have made any changes that would affect that.
