Xfinity Router - Repeater Question

Hello.  I have a CGM4981COM wireless router.  I was using it with two of the newest Xfinity pods, but I was having constant connection issues with devices in my house and became convinced it was somehow related.  I removed the pods and seperated the networks (2.4, 5, and 6) and have had literally zero problems for months since making the switch.

However, I have a projector and fire stick on my porch that I can no longer connect to internet with.  It is my understanding the pods cannot be uses when the networks are separated.

Does anyone know if a repeater or extender from like a Netgear, etc would work with this setup?  I don't see why not, but figured I would get a second opinion.

Thanks!

Just to make sure, you are asking if you can use a different device from the pods to use your Firestick and the projector or are you looking to see if you can use the pods on a separated network?

@XfinityJosephB If what I read online is correct, I cannot use the pods with the way I have my network setup.

If I could use the pods, that would be preferable since I already have two of them.  However, I don't want to switch back from the three separate networks.

If I can't use the pods with my current setup, I was wondering if I could purchase a repeater or extender and be able to use it with the router on one of the three segregated wi-fi networks.

Thanks for your help.

That's a great question, @Kangle316. Yes. You should be able to set up an extender with your own modem/router.
