Xfinity router enables Youtube Restricted Mode for no reason

I don’t know why, but each time I connect to my Xfinity wifi, YouTube restricted mode gets enabled, there doesn’t seem like a obvious option to disable that, can someone help? I’ve tried searching on the internet for my situation, but none helped.

Thank you for reaching out to us @user_080869! Devices that have parental controls enabled will have Google SafeSearch enabled, Bing SafeSearch set to Strict, and YouTube Restricted Mode enabled. If Parental Controls were enabled by accident, Parental Controls can be accessed by signing into the Xfinity app and going to the settings page of the person this device is assigned to.

The mainline xfinity app doesnt seem to have a obvious way to disable parental controls. You must be talking about xfinity mobile, which i do not have access to due to signing up recently.

There are quite a few ways to alter parental controls for your internet. Here is an article that will walk you through your options. https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/set-up-parental-controls-with-comcast-networking

Parental controls is only enabled through profiles. I didn’t have profiles at all, and yet it has parental control restrictions, I was only able to disable it by creating profiles manually, for the love of god, leave some features disabled.
