Xfinity PS5 Friends List/Store/Account Info Not Loading

Hello Everyone,

I just signed up for service and when I turn on my PS5, it doesn't populate my friends list/store/account info in the settings. I tried doing the Google DNS, but that didn't fix it. I'm also using the XB-8T router and PS5 is connected by ethernet.

Has anyone ran into this?

Hi, @ddevlin89! Thanks for taking the time to reach out via our Xfinity Forums and for your patience while waiting for a response. When connecting my PS5, as long as I am connected to my home- WiFi my friends list autopopulates on my end. I would have the same concern if I were in your shoes. We can help. Are you noticing any other connection issues? Are you able to surf online?

No other issues with anything honestly. It’s just the PS5. Friends list won’t load, the store doesn’t populate, can’t look up account info. I can play online. It’s just UI issues. When I had Verizon fios, it did not do this

Have you had a chance to contact PS support? I can assist with internet connection no problem, but this sounds more like just a PlayStation issue that would need fixed. I'm not too good in that department as we don't supply them sorry.
