Xfinity packet loss connection issues
We are experiencing severe and constant bursts in packet loss that is disruptive to various activities. This has been ongoing for close to a year now and I am about over it. This varies like things from zoom calls ( work from home so its essential), to gaming and other forms of media. It's worth noting that everything that is seeing issues is wired via ethernet cable and all tests to rule out hardware issues were performed via ethernet.
I've ran multiple tests and have determined that this is not my hardware and has to be something on Xfinity's end.
I have run many ping tests in the last year, experiencing 3-10% packet loss over the course of 5, 10, and 30min tests. I even had a friend (Network Engineer) ping our external IP and he too was experiencing packet loss.
These drops in connection reliability currently make it difficult to do my job or enjoy games/other forms of media. This is not a speed issue, it's a stability issue. I believe the issue to be on Xfinity's end, but am open to solutions.
