Xfinity package lost causing VPN to drop VPN connection using MFA
Xfinity seem to be repeatedly causing package drops that causes my VPN to drop its connection. Since my company uses a an MFA as part of its authentication process it will fail when it tries to reconnect. Then I have to manually restart the process of looking up the current code and entering it with my login credentials.
It can keep the connection as long as 2-3 hours some times but also can keep happens in times as short as 5 minutes. The worst part is that it can drop the connection for about a minute at a time while it tries to reconnect at which point the connection will finally come back once it gives up.
I have of course tried all the steps for resetting the connection but it doesn't change anything.
All my other co-workers who have had comcast have also had the same issue so it seems to be the an issue between our home networks and our companies VPN setup.
Similar things can happen with things like netflix but that has the advantage of being ableto auto recover.
Anyone else have had a similar issue been able recover it?
