Xfinity NOW WiFi Hotspot Pass Suddenly Stopped Working
As the title states, Xfinity HotSpot Pass suddenly stopped working after 2 months of working almost perfectly fine. I've paid for the pass three times since it's pretty useful, specially if you only use 2 devices and don't want the hassle of a monthly contract with equipment. Which is also more expensive with lots of hidden fees.
And then suddenly this month, it just stopped working. It constantly gets disconnected, goes out of range, and even shows as 'no internet' when connected. Not sure what the issue is but it's basically impossible to work with. I've tried reaching out to customer service representatives via email, chat and even on the phone, with zero help. Some representatives appear to not even know that Xfinity offers this product.
I've also tried updating my laptop's system, hardware, restarted, but it's definitely the hotspot connection because I am able to connect to another network, and it's far more stable despite it having lower signal.
For some reason, it does work perfectly fine on my phone and doesn't have as much trouble staying connected to my TV. I know that the WiFi is only meant to be used with 2 devices, so I don't really connect the phone.
It seems very unprofessional from Xfinity to offer a product that they have zero customer service for. I'd be willing to pay $15/month or even $20/month if it mean better overall support. The service itself from the hotspot, while not necessarily ideal for someone working, is still a pretty good solution specially if you work remotely, since this wide-range of hotspot locations is offered at coffee shops, restaurants and even hotels.

Eh it works okay I recently moved in the last six months and just ran into this xfinity hot spot thing; that it does not work.

Mines isn’t working either it’s like it’s a waste of money . 10 dollars isn’t a lot but it can be use for something else, if we can’t get what we paying for that’s how companies loses customers because they say one thing and other things happen. I’m going to fios with my money at least they hotspot works perfect

I signed up to NOW Wifi Pass, used it for 20 days without problems now the hotspot has completely disappeared, I have waited 2 days to see if the service is restored, but nothing, non of my devices can see it. The phone number you provide to get help with NOW WIFi pass is not working since Comcast has declined to refuse to help like a human the costumer and divert it to useless CHAT BOT that dose NOT answer the problem. My problem is in MARGATE 33068 / 441 & Southgate blvd. Maybe someone who cares about the situation will look into the problem and resolve it, otherwise I will call my BANK and do a CHARGEBACK. I’ll give it another day before I call my BANK.
