Xfinity modem/router effective range

For planning purposes I would like to learn what the normal or typical range of Xfinity's modem or router is. Yes, I could experiment and figure it out very roughly, but knowing the expected range or radius of service would be a very helpful starting point. I don't know if the Xfinity device has a name or model number--it's about 8" high, is 4 or 5" square at the base and has a slanted top.

Since every house, setup, experience, usage is different, you should experiment and see what works personally for you and the devices that you use

There are just too too many variables to speculate about WiFi range, sorry.

I'm a little disappointed. I suppose I should have said, typical wood-frame house, but I see I'm not going to get an answer, like "typically anywhere from 10 to 50 feet." Thanks anyway.

There’s still too many variables. It’s a try it and see how it works for you. What works for someone else may not work for you.

FWIW: The XB6 T gateway, (you can check the model on the back), has pretty good wireless, works well for me. Of course you can always use your own router, if you need more control over settings, ect;
