Xfinity Model Log4j Vulnerability - Are your modems/routers vulnerable and have they been patched?

Hello,

Has anyone heard whether the Xfinity modems vulnerable to this exploit CVE  2021-44228(log4j.  likelihood is very high due to the use of Java and likely apache)  and if/when an update has come out?

Thanks!

Greetings, @thatjerseydude. Thank you for creating a post here on the Xfinity Forums. Security concerns are important to us and you have reached the right place for assistance. If you feel like you or someone you know has been a victim of online security, here is how to let the right people know. The Customer Security Assurance organization has been established to ensure a safe and secure online experience for Comcast customers. This team is a dedicated group of security professionals who respond to issues pertaining to phishing, spam, infected computers (commonly referred to as bots), online fraud and other security issues.

I also wanted to share this article which provides an overview of Xfinity xFi Advanced Security features and the Dashboard, plus tips on how to resolve security risks which may help. Xfinity xFi Advanced Security is great because it helps monitor devices real-time and alerts you when devices are behaving in unusual ways that could indicate a network security risk.
