Xfinity Mobile and Xfinitywifi, what are they used for?

I am new to Xfinity and need some help understanding some options.  When my Xfinity internet was installed, the tech had me log into the service with my last name.  There are two other options listed, one called Xfinity mobile and the other called Xfinitywifi.  What do I use these two for or direct me to a link explaining them.

See "Secure vs. open Xfinity WiFi hotspots" on https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/secure-vs-open-xfinity-wifi.

@BruceW Probably does not apply to me as I do not have Xfinity phones, just internet and land line.

That doesn't matter. Even my lowly Motorola Tracfone can use these SSIDs. Unfortunately Comcast/Xfinity has done a terrific job of confusing home Internet service, Xfinity Mobile service, and the "xfinitywifi", "XFINITY", and "XFINITY MOBILE" hotspots.

Currently I have my cell phone on the Internet service they named Zuck.  So, I could connect it on Xfinity Mobile?  Thanks for helping an old guy who has been on DSL for years and years.

user_ie85mh yes that is correct. That is one of hotspots which are free to Xfinity internet customers, as well. Please let me know if this helps.

If it's compatible, yes. https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/about-xfinity-wifi-internet lists supported devices and how to connect them to the Comcast/Xfinity hotspots. Good luck!
