Xfinity is totally unreliable

I keep losing internet and I don’t know why. I replaced the old modem and I got the new one from my Xfinity store so it should work. I’m fed up because I lose signal every weekend and at random times throughout the week. I had no problems at my previous address and I didn’t move to the middle of nowhere so I should not be having this much trouble. Every time I call or use the chat I am told to do the same thing (unplug the modem, wait, plug it in again). I have already tried this several times by the time I give up and contact support. Then they’re never able to send a tech out to me until several days later. The last time I called, I asked the employee to see if there was anything sooner. He didn’t respond for several minutes. Then he flat out lied and told me someone would be out that day. Well I received confirmation emails that I had an installation appointment scheduled for several days later while I was still chatting with this tech. So I asked him to confirm that the appointment was to FIX (not install) and scheduled for that day. He confirmed it! I have screenshots!!! He LIED to me to get me off of the phone. I’m fed up. His name was Faiz.

What do the modem's signal stats look like ? Try getting them here; http://192.168.100.1 or here http://10.0.0.1 

Please copy all of the text in its entirety of the *Downstream Power Levels*, the *SNR's* (Signal to Noise Ratios), and the *Upstream Power Level* numbers and paste them into your next post.


What is the exact make and model number of the modem / gateway device ?

Is this a WiFi connection ?

I have the same frustration it seems like every weekend my internet goes out i call and they say the same thing unplug wait and then plug it back in again then it still dosen’t I pay my bill every month on time the service should be better than that what it is. i would never invited anyone over to my house to watch a game or anything like that i cant work from home or even take classes online for the aggravation of the internet not working i wish there was another reliable internet company Available because I’d drop Comcast/Xfinity like a hot potato.
