Xfinity is limiting my speed

About a month after upgrading to the 5 year 2 GB plan. Xfinity has severely throttled my speed. I am capping at 500 Mbps which is lower than what I was getting when I had a 500 Mbps second plan. What’s the point of offering the plan. Totally disappointed.

user_gmfbju Hello! Thank you for reaching out. Can you please elaborate on the modem you are using? Do you notice a drop in speeds during a particular time of day/night? Have you tried power cycling your modem/router for about 30-seconds to see if that improves your connection?
