Xfinity incoming internet is coax and my TP-Link ER605 router is ethernet.

For two months I have been unsuccessful to have my devices work with TP-Link Omada. I believe my problem is two routers on my network. The ER605 and Arris SBG10. They remain managed locally. Anytime I have tried to turn off DHCP on the Arris or put it in Bridged mode I lose all networking capabilities. I'm stuck with the Arris due to my internet coming in as coax.

Can I go from Xfinity incoming coax into a 'coax to ethernet' convertor like Moca then to my ER605 router, or is there a better way?

Device Model Version Firmware
Router ER605(UN) v1.6 1 1.2.1 Build 20220512 Rel.76748
Access Point EAP225(US) v4.0 5.0.8 5.0.8 Build 20220613 Rel. 51936
Switch TL-SG2210P(UN) v3.26 3.2 3.20.8 Build 20221130 Rel.42340

@SysopChris

Being that you are using a separate wifi router for your Wi-Fi connection and having issues connecting with your Arris modem, you should reach out to the manufacture of the wifi router to find out how you use the ER605 with your arris,

Are you power-cycling the Arris after putting it in to bridge mode ?

You still need a cable modem to talk to the Comcast system. MoCA does not have cable modem functionality.
