Xfinity Gateway - Shows as Online, No WiFi, No LAN
Just as the title says, our Xfinity modem shows solid lights for “Power,” “US/DS” and “Online” but nothing else.
After getting home today from a trip, we noticed our internet was a little slow. I cycled the power on the modem as I normally do. The reboot process started normally, but it started taking longer than normal for the “online” light to stop blinking. It eventually went solid after the “Tel1” light began momentarily blinking as well.
The 2.4ghz and 5ghz lights are off, and there is no option to select my modem on my laptop. When I plugged my laptop directly into the modem, the Ethernet initially shows as an orange light on the back, and my laptop recognizes a self-assigned IP address until the light goes off and the Ethernet stops working.
I have tried cycling the power, factory resetting, tightening the coax cables and using different coax cables altogether, but nothing has worked. The modem goes through the exact same process I detailed above. Any help is appreciated!
