Xfinity gateway setup Issues

I’m trying to setup a Xfinity Gateway, and made sure the cloax cable and other cable are both connected properly, setup my account, and done everything else correctly but when I go to activate it, it goes through the five minutes, starts glowing solid white, then turns red while trying to connect. How do I fix this
